New job

Shortly, I got new employer, not in orienteering any longer. If you want to know more, here is a bit longer version.

2020 trainings sum

Indoor cycling and elliptical are alternative trainings. I do use them almost only when I'm injured. Normally I do start with indoor cycling during first weeks of injury and then switch to cross-trainer (elliptical)  as soon as I feel injury is almost gone and I can start run soon.

Swedish champs in sprints

 10-11 of October Swedish champs in sprints were held.

Finnish champs ultra long 2020

 17 of October 2020 I ran Finnish champs on ultra long distance.

Why? Why I, while representing Swedish club, run in Finland sometimes? Why ultra long, it's so fucking long and hard?

Prize money from ministry of sports of Ukraine

Our ministry of sports gives prize money to top 3 places at official international competitions.

A lot of events happened during past months, but I'll write about Park World Tour in China.

News

A few days left until World Orienteering Championships starts in Latvia.

I'll run:

Sprint on Saturday, 4th of August.
Middle on Tuesday, 7th.
Forest relay on Thursday, 9th
And Long distance on Saturday, 11th.

This will be my 8th WOC. First one was back in 2008 in Czech.
I don't have any expectations from my results and will take it as is.

After WOC there is GBR youth coming in Ravinen club hut for a little bit less than 2 weeks.
2 regional champs and World Cup in Norway at the end of August.

O-Ringen

22-27 of July I ran O-Ringen in Höga Kusten area, Örnsköldsvik, Sweden.

6-8 of July we ran WOC test races in Latvia.

Camp in Åhus, Sweden

16-20 of March I have been on camp in southern Sweden. Åhus is a small city on coast line of Baltic sea. Not far away there is a bit bigger city Kristianstad.

The WOC 2017, part 1.

Past months went more or less ok with trainings.

Am I done?

This years main events are over. World Championships and The World Games. These two were the main goals on horizon since last year. Maybe I'll comeback later to evaluate and tell some stories, maybe not. Anyway, this post is about other. I would not recommend to read to those, who has motivation problems. And maybe to impressionable persons. It's like watching someone dying: not the most funniest thing in the world, but still interesting, because it's the part of life.
